By setting up a new client, beamtrace gave me a list of 131 competitors for [https://skindo.de](https://skindo.de)
According to the owner of the business these 4 have been the direct competitors as they offer similar (and foccussed) service.
Theses competitors could not be found in the list:
Deluxe-beauty-lounge
lipomassageschwabing
bellafigura-muenchen
body-beauty-form

What we need ist a search function to find a competitor and also a possibility to add competitors.
Or is there any reason not to do so?
Thanks
Thomas

Hi @thomas_john_martin 👋

Currently, we don’t have a feature that allows users to manually add competitors, as the list is generated based on the companies that actually appear in AI-generated responses.

Our system tracks specific prompts and analyzes which companies appear in AI responses for those queries. The competitor list is built based on these actual appearances.

Companies that do not appear in the tracked AI responses would not have any visibility or metrics available, so adding them manually would not provide meaningful data.

Once a company starts appearing in AI responses during future prompt checks, it will be automatically identified and added to the competitor list.

I hope this clarifies things!

Regarding the search option, this is a nice idea and we’ll try to think about it in the future 🙂
