Best Claude rank tracker – does it even exist?

If you’ve looked for a Claude rank tracker, you’ve probably seen the tradeoff: expensive, limited, or both. We reviewed 8 tools that actually support Claude, and the landscape explained a lot:

  • Claude’s API is ~8× the cost of ChatGPT. Add the 5–10 repeated runs needed per prompt, and tracking 50 prompts can cost as much as 500 on ChatGPT

  • Many platforms don’t support Claude at all or gate it behind enterprise tiers, where the pricing math works

  • Yet Claude is where 70% of Fortune 100 companies make decisions, making it both the hardest and most critical platform to track

The tension is real: expensive to monitor, but too important to ignore.

Claude keeps coming up in AI visibility discussions, and it’s stressing me out :sweat_smile:

The 8x cost thing kinda makes sense given the API pricing, but the multi-run requirement on top of that is what makes it feel out of reach for me. For now, I’m just manually checking our top 5 comparison prompts once a week.

Honestly, 5 comparison prompts with manual checks is more than most people are doing. The main thing I’d change: run each one 3 times and log whether you appear in all 3, some, or none. That turns a yes/no into a frequency, which is way more useful. The cost conversation only really matters once you outgrow manual, and by then, you’ll have enough data to know whether Claude visibility is actually moving things for your pipeline :woman_raising_hand:
